I had the pleasure of calling Clive a friend many many years ago and unfortunately I lost touch. I will always be indebted to him for his taste in music and have since had a lifetime of pleasure from many artists including Steely Dan, Jeff Beck, George Benson and the Eagles to name but a few. I was also introduced to real ale and Indian restaurants in London while attending gigs of the above artistes Clive and my mother both worked at Midland Bank and we became close friends spending many happy times together.. I have lots of great memories, Thanks Clive you were a truly great friend, Xxx RIP Mal.

Uncle Clive! I was saddened to hear of your passing. I’ve known you most of my life. It will never be the same, without you. No more music advice, Donald Duck impressions or funny conversations. To say you will be missed, is an understatement. I promise to stay in touch with everyone. Sending much love, Always ,Michelle. xxx
